This weekend in Queen Creek
October 9–11, 2026. Friday stays hot — NWS high near 101, sunny. Saturday near 95 with a chance of storms. Sunday near 87, showers likely. Outdoor plans early or after 6, and have an indoor backup Saturday night and Sunday.
Friday
- Queen Creek Feastival — 5:30–9:00 PM at Ellsworth Loop & Aldecoa (22300 S. Summers Pl.). Food trucks, live music, free entry. With kids: chairs and an early exit before the lot gets sticky. Us: one plate, then AC. Still a 100-degree afternoon — do not arrive at 4.
- Schnepf Pumpkin & Chili Party — noon–10 PM, ticketed (about $29 general, under 2 free). Corn maze, rides, chili. With kids: after 5, once the maze is in the lights. Us: later, if the farm crowd thins. Pumpkins and some rides extra.
- Annie at Hale (Gilbert, ~25 min) — opens tonight, 7:30 PM (also 4:00 PM). Adult $65, youth $45. No kids under 5. Family musical, about 2.5 hours.
Saturday
- Queen Creek Family Market — 9:00 AM–2:00 PM at Ellsworth Loop. Vendors, food trucks, kid activities, free entry. Morning is the heat-honest window before storms build.
- San Tan Fall Festival — 5:00–8:00 PM at Central Arizona College, San Tan Campus (3736 E Bella Vista Rd). Free admission and parking. Mad Science labs, music, games, trick-or-treating, costume contest, a spooky hallway. With kids. Check the sky — storms are in the forecast.
- Schnepf Farms — 10 AM–10 PM. Early maze if the kids want daylight; evening if the storms hold off.
- Annie at Hale — 4:00 and 7:30 PM. The 4:00 is the with-kids show; 7:30 is the us show if a sitter is sorted.
Sunday
- Schnepf Farms — 10 AM–9 PM. Cooler day (highs near the mid-80s) but showers likely. Go early and leave if thunder starts.
- Olive Mill patio — no festival this weekend. Grove lunch if the mill is open and the rain holds. Pizza Date Night is Wednesday, Oct 14 (ticketed; public seats were sold out as of Oct 8).
